| Estimated
customers and friends: Let me introduce myself. I'm Pedro Alcaraz
Mula, founding partner of JOPEMAN Pedro
Alcaraz S. L., and the company's manager. 42 years dedicated
in body and soul to the fine art of woodworking, where I've been
acquiring knowledge, which generates strength, morale and y
professionalism to complete a whole life. For these reasons, in my
humble opinion, I consider myself qualified enough to give you some
practical advises, and to express the most gratefulness to our
customers, which are our reason to exist. For the trust you place in
us when you acquire our products, JOPEMAN
makes every effort to design, manufacture and market in the interest
of the maximum comfort in the use and benefit you're worth. |
FROM
NOSTALGIA TO PRACTICE
| Sometimes I
think that I do not know what I'm doing myself, a lyric poet, by
sitting in front of the computer. And I must accept that if I had
just a bit of Miguel de Cervantes' literary, I'll sacrifice my hands
for writing a Quixote, who'd rise up, in his delirious wrath,
against this ugly square gadget. But let's be honest, we must
recognize that it's a result of progress. And, at least, we must be
grateful that this way was first used by our ancestors. If we just
approach to the figure of grandparents, they placed the first stone
in everything, without sparing efforts and human capital, to make
ourselves what they could not become. Let's be honest, it didn't
fall from heaven!. So, I'll make an homage to them, transforming
myself into an invisible parrot promoting the information highway
which is also an effective means of approaching and communicating
among human beings, although it's far away from the romanticism of
those handwritten letters, now buried in the past. |
THE
KITCHEN FURNITURE INDUSTRY, HALF A CENTURY LATER,
A DIAMOND TO BE POLISHED
| Today, in the
furniture industries, it's unthinkable to have big timber
productions and metals foundries, although they provide more
products. In the
last fifty years we've attended a constant revolution in the world
of furniture, running in parallel with the economic and social
development. These have been the reasons for the increase of the
furniture sales. The kitchen furniture's been affected by the
progressive increase of sales. I remember perfectly when, just half
century ago, the kitchen furnituring in our country were a couple of
walls, with curtains replacing doors, a cupboard and nothing else.
In periods of prosperity,
when the curve of economy was ascending, many kitchen furniture
industries were established. Some of them were managed by people not
involved in this industry. During the upcoming crisis a fierce
competition was established, sometimes it fell under disloyal
competition. So, the quality standards had to be cut down, mainly
for the materials in use, to get a return on the expensive machinery
we use in this industry. The quality of kitchen furniture implies a
wide range of expensive machinery combined with human handwork. The
reduction in the quality standards have caused the fall of some of
these industries. Surviving industries, which bet for quality and
trademark, are serving the nowadays customer. |
HOW
JOPEMAN IS BORN
| In 1996, and
due to a family decision, it was established the JOPEMAN
Pedro Alcaraz S. L. company. In
these years, JOPEMAN manufactured kitchen and bathroom furniture. We
chose to develop our own designs, with fixed specifications: custom
manufacturing with the minimum materials waste, flashy aspect with
first quality materials. That's how we started. Four or five years
later, families were faithful to JOPEMAN's furniture, from parents
to sons and other relatives. They become more in quantity and
fidelity and we feel proud of it. A high percentage of JOPEMAN's
customers come from the purchase of new properties. Three decades
later, our customers' confidence is our best guarantee and the most
personal satisfaction for those who take part in this company.
Fifteen years ago, new
technologies in block carpentry were introduced. We were half
pioneers, half receivers of these techniques to start using them.
The process consist in carrying the finished parts to the customer's
home. No brickwork or paintwork is needed, so it's cleaner and
cheaper. Now, doors and closets are manufactured under these
techniques. Our sliding-doors closets use the 'rolsystem' system and
a wide variety of last generation mechanisms. |
IN
THE PRESENT, JOPEMAN, AND IN THE FUTURE
| In JOPEMAN,
we are not going to reject neither the advertising campaigns nor the
advantages of marketing techniques. We consider them like a vehicle
that carries a part of illusion and a part of necessity for a good.
And it must return with its part of the other two in order to carry
the project through to the end. I assure you that, in front of this
two techniques, in JOPEMAN we're going
to stay "with a opened eye and with a half-opened one" to
avoid any hidden trickster. We cannot forget that everyone is
receiver of these new methods. One
day JOPEMAN bet for future, joining a
group of companies, leaders in design and quality certification,
which provide us, for our production and sales, with raw materials,
semi-finished products, and, due to the everyday high demand,
imported finished product with high quality, for later
commercialization. |

| Today,
everyday, time speeds up. The clock is our worst enemy, a relentless
jailer who imprisons our spare time. Today, when truth is not hidden
to children about matters our elders did, let's be serious there's
no need to lie.
Today, when we're going to
furnish our home, and our home is not anything!, it's where we spend
the most of our life in use and benefit; we need an expert to get
advice. But we cannot hire a technician to buy a piece of furniture
or an electrical appliance, just like we hire an architect to design
a house.

every customer and visitor is welcome, although no purchase is made.
You're going to find all the technical advice you'll need, without
sparing efforts, and with a great percentage of good choices due to
our confidence in the knowledge that we've been acquiring along our
existence, assisted by our artisan hands, and incorporating
everything that technology has provided us with.
For all these reasons, in JOPEMAN
we consider ourselves able enough to advise our customers
technically and economically. Saving is not always like spending
less. There's no worst saving that you've to pay two times for the
same product. This never makes you glad. In front of quality, open
your eyes, do not get deceived by false promises, nor by exaggerated
advertising campaigns, nor by individuals, technicians with no
technique, or by specialists in a false MARKETING. |
